Part 3
Parking Procedures and Restrictions

The following is a list of the BASIC parking procedures at Quail Run. It is by no means comprehensive. The only way the residents of Quail Run can obtain enjoyment in the community is for every unit owner to respect the other unit owner's rights.

  1. Parking Procedure

    Quail Run is presently made up of five clusters. Each home has the use of an assigned carport, with an individual storage area, or an attached garage. Each unit assigned parking spaces is as follow (1) inside the carport/garage and (2) behind the car inside the carport/garage.

    With respect to the units with attached garages, additional cars can be parked in the driveway if they do not protrude into the roadway.

    In addition, each cluster has parking spaces for visitors and repair/maintenance contractors for the unit owners.

    Guest parking is permitted over-night.

    No unregistered, uninsured or inoperable vehicles are allowed on the property. Storage of vehicles is not permitted.

    There are times during the year (Holidays, unit owner parties etc.) when additional parking is needed by a particular unit owner. Additional parking at the pool area can be used.

    Under no circumstance may vehicles be parked around cluster circles or the main roadway unless a situation warrants the necessity, such as unloading groceries and packages, or a service provider is working at a unit. No parking is allowed on the grass areas, no exceptions.

  2. Parking Restrictions

    The washing, cleaning and/or repairing of automobiles or any other vehicles (except emergency repair) is not permitted in the parking spaces or common areas. The common parking area just outside the pool, and units with driveways, can be used for washing and polishing (only) of vehicles. A hose is set up at the pool area and the place must be left in clean condition when leaving. Only biodegradable cleansers are to be used in driveways.

    The SPEED limit is 20 mph on all roadways at Quail Run. Speed bumps have been set up on the main road to prevent speeding but this does not guarantee that some people won't speed. There are a number of small children and handicapped people in our community. Please don't SPEED. Do not pass vehicles on Quail Run roadways.

  3. Commercial Vehicles

    Quail Run Condominium Trust does not allow trucks, commercial vehicles, trailers, campers, boats or other recreational vehicles to be parked in a carport, garage, any parking space or common area without prior written consent of the Board of Trustees. No owner, resident, or over-night guest is allowed to park any commercial vehicle without the prior written consent of the Board of Trustees. In cases of emergency, commercial vehicles may be parked within the condominium property with approval of the Property Manager or Board Chairman.
