MARY CUMMINGS PARK

Immediately adjacent to Quail Run is a 218 acre park with beautiful land, rich wildlife, and a network of trails for easy walking. Trails are accessible from behind the northeast side of Douglas Green or the East corner of Vine Brook Way. If you like to walk for exercise, this is a wonderful place to do it.

The park is home to much wildlife, including birds and deer, and a rich variety of plants and trees ...

... and butterflies.

On good days, you will often see the Burlington RC Flyers piloting their radio-controlled model airplanes from a mowed, grassy runway in the park.

Their runway appears in the upper left of the park view below. To the right of that is the Northeastern University campus.
